I was honoured to be selected for Dubai’s inaugural month-long Calligraphy Biennale, where I showcased my first sculpture, Contentment. I was thrilled to participate, and the experience was made unforgettable by meeting renowned contemporary Italian sculptor Lorenzo Quinn, who took a genuine interest in my work and shared insightful perspectives on art.
"Contentment" is a blue-toned acrylic sculpture of 11 stylised Arabic letter "Ha" ح , representing gratitude’s transformative power. The varying sizes and layers evoke breathing’s rhythm, symbolising mindfulness and balance. Set on a sleek podium, the sculpture invites viewers to explore from different angles, experiencing its peaceful atmosphere of reflection and tranquillity.
